‘Game of Thrones’ Season 5 Spoilers: Dark Days Are Coming For Tyrion And Jon Snow [VIDEOS]
For those who doesn’t know what happened in “Game of Thrones” Season 4 finale: Tywin Lannister (Charles Dance) is dead, Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) is on the run and Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) is finally free. Now weeks before Season 5’s premiere, the new HBO spoiler hints the dark days coming for Tyrion and Jon Snow.
Warning: Spoiler Alert!
Following the “Game of Thrones” Season 5 world premiere from the Tower of London, the HBO epic show offered some glimpse at a few major plot lines featuring two of the show most loved characters. The first clip features the imp chatting with the “Master of Whisperers” Varys asking him the reason why he saved him from his death.
The former royal council member told Tyrion that he didn’t to do it for him but for the seven kingdoms. He believed that Tyrion has a major part to play in the incoming war, and just like winter, war is definitely coming from all corners of Westeros.
Some early trailers of the show also showed Varys talking to Tyrion about working with Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) in bringing down her own sister, Cersei Lannister (Lena Heady). With Tyrion and the Mother of Dragons joining forces, fans of the show will just have to watch out for more drama and lies just to get the dibs for the Iron Throne.
The second clip features Jon Snow talking to Mance Ryder as they discuss about the fate of the people who live north of the Wall. Now that he is currently a prisoner of Stannis Baratheon, the leader of the Free Folk has no choice but abide to his rules.
“You've spent your life convincing 90 clans to come together for the first time in history…you didn't do it for power, you didn't do it for glory,” Snow told the King Beyond the Wall. “Isn't their survival more important than your pride?"
Meanwhile, “Game of Thrones” cast members enjoyed the royal treatment during the show’s world premiere. Cast members who were there are Kit Harrington, Gwendoline Christie, Alfie Allen and Sophie Turner.
“Game of Thrones” Season 5 returns to HBO on April 12, Sunday. Check out the two clips courtesy of GameofThrones
