'Game of Thrones' Season 6: Bran's story 'starting to tie up'; producers not 'nervous' about any episode
After missing out on the previous season, Bran will be making a comeback in “Game of Thrones” Season 6. In a recent interview, cast member Isaac Hempstead Wright teased that Bran’s story will now begin to “tie up.”
In an interview with BBC, Wright (Bran) said that his character’s storyline will now start to affect the whole of Westeros. The actor said that Bran is starting to “come into his own” and this will be a “big” season for the character.
The actor pointed out that every year the cast members say the show has gotten bigger, and this time also it is no different. The cast have been promising the biggest season of the show yet and Wright also confirms this and said that this time around it will be one of the “coolest” seasons.
Wright said that it was good to see all his fellow cast members after a gap of a year. The actor said that being on the set of “Game of Thrones” Season 6 was a bit of a “shock” to his system, because he hadn’t done any acting for a year. Talking about what the fans can expect from his character, the actor said that they would particularly enjoy Bran’s visions.
Producers David Benioff and Dan Weiss are also quite confident of the next season. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the producers said that usually they are “nervous” about one or two episodes, but this time they feel that there will be no “weak” episodes.
Benioff and Weiss felt that they had the “strongest season” right at the script stage. When the directors of the episodes brought the “Game of Thrones” Season 6 to life, the producers felt that they had delivered something better than what they had hoped for. The producers said that they are not saying this to hype the show and added that this is the “best one” from them and they are also “proudest” of it.
