'Game of Thrones' Season 6 spoilers: Picture of Ramsay's letter to Jon Snow released
A picture of Ramsay’s letter to Jon Snow from the recently aired episode of “Game of Thrones” Season 6 has been released online. Meanwhile, Executive Producers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss shared their insights about Jon Snow and his sister Sansa Stark in a new video.
[Spoiler alert]
Ramsay (Iwan Rheon) sent a letter to Jon Snow (Kit Harington), criticising him for letting the Free Folk cross The Wall. He went on to reveal that Jon’s brother Rickon (Art Parkinson) has been captured and is in the dungeon of Winterfell. He threatened Jon with dire consequences if he did not send his wife back.
A picture of the letter has now been released on the official Making Game of Thrones website. The letter is very similar to the one Ramsay sent to Jon in “A Song of Ice and Fire” book series; announcing the death of Stannis Baratheon. The death of Stannis in the books, however, hasn’t been confirmed yet.
Sansa (Sophie Turner) wants her brother to ride to Winterfell and take their ancestral homeland from the Boltons. Jon has so far been reluctant to join the fights of Westeros. But, with his oath to the Night’s Watch fulfilled and the capture of his brother in “Game of Thrones” Season 6; will he finally take up arms against the enemies of his family?
In a new video, Benioff pointed out that even though Sansa and Jon are two of the most important characters on the show, they have never had a scene together until now. He said that the scene of the two siblings meeting after such a long time “worked out beautifully.”
Jon and Sansa have been through a lot in their lives and now they only have each other in “Game of Thrones” Season 6, Weiss pointed out. The producer teased that the capture of his brother will now force his hand and he will have to join the fray that he has been trying to avoid for so long.
