'Game of Thrones' Season 7: Ellie Kendrick wants Jon Snow to be Meera's brother

Production of “Game of Thrones” Season 7 is in full swing. The show is expected to reveal more hidden secrets and mysterious, and the most prominent one of Jon Snow finding out about his true background. Meanwhile, cast member Ellie Kendrick talked about a popular theory about Meera Reed having a brother.

One fan theory suggested that Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Meera Reed (Ellie Kendrick) are siblings. In an interview with Inverse, Kendrick said that if the theory turns out to be true it would e “lovely” for her character. The actress explained that although she would like to answer fan questions about whether they are right or not; she can’t because she hasn’t been told anything by the producers.

A scene from the previous season that reveals the true parents of Jon Snow appears to disprove the theory about him being Meera’s brother, Kendrick pointed out. However, she also added that it is impossible to know how the future events will unfold.

“Game of Thrones” Season 7 is expected to focus on Jon Snow finding out about his real parents. As of now only his brother Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright) knows the secret, thanks to his ability to look at past events through his visions. Will there be another baby in the room in the flashback sequence?

While the fans wait for clarity on whether Meera is Jon’s sister, Kendrick is enjoying all the theories about the show. She finds the “really weird” theories to be the “fun ones,” because the fans “get so creative” with it. Because of all the secrecy surrounding the show, the fans use their imagination to create their own stories.

“Game of Thrones” Season 7 is set to premiere on June 25, 2017. The first teaser of the show has already been released, and now the fans wait for the full trailer.
