'Game of Thrones' Season 7: Leaked video confirms most awaited alliance in Westeros
Characters that have never met before will cross paths in “Game of Thrones” Season 7. A leaked video from the production set in Spain confirms the possibility of a major political alliance in Westeros, something that has long been awaited by the fans.
[Spoiler alert]
Filming has started on the Muriola Beach in Basque Country in Spain. A leaked video from the set posted on Watchers on the Wall shows Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) meeting with Davos Seaworth (Liam Cunningham). The report points out that the location looks a lot like Dragonstone, which was the home of House Targaryen and was later held by Stannis Baratheon (Stephen Dillane).
Readers should note that Davos works for Jon Snow (Kit Harington), who has been declared the new King in the North, and Tyrion is the Hand for Queen Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke). The meeting of the two characters suggests the formation of a new alliance.
Daenerys set sail towards Westeros in the previous season, and a major war is expected in “Game of Thrones” Season 7 that will be fought between the forces of the Mother of Dragons against Queen Cersei’s army. The other big event in the next season will be the invasion of the White Walkers.
Another big news about the next season is the return of a familiar character who hasn’t been seen for a long time. Robert Baratheon’s (Mark Addy) bastard son Gendry (Joe Dempsie) will reportedly be back in the next season. The character was last seen escaping from Melisandre (Carice Van Houten) on a boat in Season 3.
Dempsie was reportedly spotted on the set, and his character Gendry will apparently be seen at Dragonstone in “Game of Thrones” Season 7. It is not clear how the character got there and what he has been doing all this time.
