'Game of Thrones' Season 7 production update: Leaked pictures of a green screen set
More pictures from the production set of “Game of Thrones” Season 7 have leaked online. The pictures show the crew members preparing a set with green screen. Meanwhile, another report reveals that there will be a love making scene between two important characters on the show next year.
Filming is set to begin near the hills above Belfast, Ireland. The location is known as Wolf Hill Quarry. Pictures posted on Watchers on the Wall show the area has been covered with fake snow. They have also apparently created an artificial icy surface that is similar to the locations in Iceland. Iceland is one of the countries where filming will take place this year.
The crew has set up a large green screen, which will be used to add special effects or background details to the scene later in the post production phase. The report notes that the crew was still working on the set when the pictures were taken, and it is possible that this will be an evening shoot.
The snow filled location suggests that it will be standing in for a location beyond the Wall in “Game of Thrones” Season 7.
Meanwhile, another production crew is working in Spain. One of the main cast members, who joined the show recently, has been spotted on the set filming his scenes.
[Spoiler alert]
Pictures from Malpartida de Cáceres posted on Winter is Coming shows James Faulkner on a horse preparing to film his scenes. There was also a cart on the set, and a group of extras on horse who practiced riding in a line, two by two.
Another report by Watchers on the Wall reveals that there is a sex scene in the works for “Game of Thrones” Season 7. Grey Worm (Jacob Anderson) and Missandei (Nathalie Emmanuel) will be in a love making scene next year.
