New game announcements cap off the week as Civilization developer introduces a spooky free-to-play game, Might & Magic goes back to basics with its newest release, Legacy, and The Unfinished Swan developer teases gamers with a new project that's already in the works.

Next project for The Unfinished Swan creator

With the working title of "Edith Finch," developer Giant Sparrow confirmed that the game is not a sequel to The Unfinished Swan, but has the same surreal overtones that gamers loved, reports GameInformer.

EuroGamer adds that there are no platforms or launch dates that have been announced so far. But as far as more concrete news go, Edith Finch may be one of the developer's three games in its deal with Sony.

The game is likely to be released as far as 2014, as a call for staff members to work on the game has just been recently released.

Might & Magic X Legacy debuts a trailer and at PAX East

From Limbic Entertainment, Legacy will focus on a single-player first-person RPG battles. You will be with a party of four as you cross the city of Karthal, collecting magical treasures, going through traps and dungeons, and basically old school power battle, reports PC Gamer.

It's back to the basics for this adventure game, and those who are heading off to the PAX East this weekend will also get a glimpse of Might & Magic X Legacy.

Haunted Hollow heading to iOS

Civlization and XCOM: Enemy Unknown developer Firaxis Games now brings a spooktacular free-to-play game to the iOS with Haunted Hollow, according to Joystiq.

Best of all, the game can be played either via single- or multi-player mode, so you can even challenge your friends through the Game Center and Pass & Play.

With Haunted Hollow, you can create your own mysterious mansion that features monsters, zombies, vampires, witches, and reapers, reports VG 24/7. Not only do the monsters have power-up enhancements, but your own haunted house can also be styled accordingly such as a "Lost Temple" or "Mad Scientist" theme.
