A long-overdue sequel, a few more details about an anticipated and delayed game, and the official trailer and confirmation for another awaited game is on the way.

More details have been revealed for Grand Theft Auto 5, Metal Gear Solid 5, and Plants vs. Zombies 2 this week.

Grand Theft Auto 5

The lack of talk about Grand Theft Auto 5 has got fans restless for more knowledge about the game

"As we have said before, we have often had long gaps between asset releases on previous games and will continue to do so in the future," said GTA 5 developer Rockstar to Computer and Video Games. "We do it because we want to make sure we only release 100% correct information, and because we want to keep plenty back for the actual game release so there are still lots of surprise when you play it."

With the delay still pushing the game to September this year, GTA 5's few screenshots at least confirm machine guns, helicopter raids and searches, skydiving, underwater adventures, and motorcycle chases, to name a few.

Metal Gear Solid 5, now official

The wait is over, and Metal Gear Solid 5 fans can look forward to something solid and official.

At the Games Developers Conference 2013, Hideo Kojima, series creator, has finally revealed that The Phantom Pain and Ground Zeroes are, in fact, part of just one whole Metal Gear Solid 5, reports The Guardian.

This installment takes gamers nine years after Snake found himself immobilized in a coma and, according to Polygon, is now making his way out of the hospital. After that, players will emerge to play through The Phantom Pain.

The official trailer for Metal Gear Solid 5 is already out. Watch it here and get the first glimpse of this much-awaited game.

Plants vs. Zombies 2, out this summer

The much celebrated and played Plants vs. Zombies had been waiting for a sequel, and most players either found themselves repeating the game over and over again, or playing adaptations when they can find one.

It has also, since then, hit several platforms, from PC and PS3 to iOS, Android, and DS.

But GameSpot reports that Popcap is already gearing up for an early summer release for the sequel. A Plants vs. Zombies Adventures spin-off is also in the works, and is set for launch as a closed beta in the spring. Expect new zombie characters and new types of plants for the game, as well as new strategies for defending your home against brain-eating zombies.
