For this week, upcoming games will introduce a strong female RPG character, a PS3 exclusive, and a co-op game that mixes science and super powers.

Punk goes cyber: Multiplayer and a Female Lead

Cyberpunk 2077 has two main things that may keep you interested until its release in 2015.

The first is its strong lead character, as shown in the teaser trailer for the RPG. According to The Examiner, it seems that there's more to the having a girl character than an added bonus for fans.

"We have women in our writing team, so we have both sides and directions to the discussion. It's not a part of our marketing strategy," said Adam Badowski, managing director for CD Projekt Red. "I think the female character in the teaser is a strong character-she's not just a girl."

In addition, Cyberpunk 2077 is slated for a multiplayer platform, so gamers can, as early as now, find teammates and opponents to better enjoy the game, reports GameInformer.

PS3 exclusive: Drakengard 3

PS3 owners can have something to look forward to that's completely their own: a sequel to an action RPG that's currently for the PS2.

Released by Square-Enix, Drakengard 3 will be released this year, bringing with it dragons, magic, and a one-armed, flower-eyed girl-protagonist.

Digital Trends reports that Access Games will be taking over the project from the now-defunct Cavia team. Will the game take a new direction, from its macabre roots to something-different?

Tiny Brains: A team of 4 against a scientist

Spearhead Games, a new studio from developers of Assassin's Creed, Army of Two, and Dead Space, are now coming up with a 3D action puzzler, Tiny Brains.

EuroGamer reports that the game allows a player to team up with three others and take over lab animals with super powers.

While there has not yet been word on the release date or the included platforms for release, developers have confirmed that the game is not for mobile play.
