It was just last Sunday when Gerard Butler was rushed to the hospital while doing a stunt for his new film 'Of Men and Mavericks.'

According to ET, the actor was wiped out while he was doing a surfing scene in Northern California.

His representative shared that the actor is fine but the incident made everyone feel scared and worried. It was in Stanford University that he was rushed to and it gave relief to everyone that he was checked out of the hospital with flying colours.

This movie talks about the real life story of surfer Jay Moriarty who overcame the dangerous Maverick's area. As per another report by ESPN, the '300' actor was fought down by two huge waves and took four to five more before totally washed out and led to the rocks by the side. It was that area where he was finally taken out.

This was not the very first hurdle that the movie stumbled upon while filming. The original director Curtis Hanson also gave the chair to Michael Apted after suffering from severe complications due to a recent heart surgery. The movie is set to hit the big screen by October 26 of next year.
