'Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life': The father of Rory's baby might not be a mystery for long
“Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life” was supposed to settle any questions that fans of the original series had, especially since creator Amy Sherman-Palladino was never able to share the original ending that she wanted for Rory and Lorelai. But while the Netflix revival was able to tie up some loose ends, it did so by opening up an entirely new door.

When Rory (Alexis Bledel) and Lorelai (Lauren Graham) finally uttered those last four words, fans were shocked at the cliff hanger and pleased with the parallels between the lives of mother and daughter.
Rory: Mom?
Lorelai: Yeah…
Rory: I’m pregnant.
And while neither of the cast or crew has confirmed that “Gilmore Girls” will be back on the small screen again, Netflix did tease the possibility of one.
The tweet is a reference to the older seasons of the series, where Luke (Scott Patterson) was finding out he was the father of April (Vanessa Marano). At that time, April made a science project regarding the journey to find out who her biological father was. However, Netflix changed the photos to Logan (Matt Czuchry), Paul (Jack Carpenter) and a sign that described Rory’s one night stand.
The general understanding between “Gilmore Girls” fans is that Logan fathered the baby, but that Jess (Milo Ventimiglia) will support her throughout the pregnancy and single motherhood. It continues that after some time, he ultimately ends up with her. Rory’s life would basically mirror her mother’s in that sense. It also helps that Sherman-Palladino has publicly stated that she has often considered Logan to be Rory’s Christopher.
