Ginnifer Goodwin: 'Once Upon A Time' Actress Talks About On- And Off-Screen Parenting With Husband And Co-Star Josh Dallas

Couple Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas, who welcomed their first child back in May, currently use their parenting experiences in the fairy tale drama series "Once Upon a Time." The 36-year-old actress talked about being a parent both on- and off-screen with her husband and co-star Josh Dallas.

According to an Extra report, the first-time mom, who portrays Snow White/Mary Margaret in the TV series, admitted to the reporters about being exhausted during the "Once Upon A Time" set visit recently held in Vancouver, Canada. Ginnifer Goodwin shared that she just shows up at work exhausted and have to be an exhausted Mary Margaret on the set.

The actress added that she tells the show's writers and producers she is tired when they ask her how she is doing. "And they're like, 'We have a great episode for you coming up'," Goodwin shared.

Ginnifer Goodwin further admitted that she is now using her new mom skills on the OUAT where eight babies portray Mary Margaret and David's (Josh Dallas) son, Neal. The actress revealed that she can now definitely tell the different babies apart.

"I used to be like, 'babies look like babies.' And now that I have a baby, I'm like, how does the audience not notice that in every shot, this is a different kid?" Goodwin explained. When the couple is not filming scenes for the TV series, Ginnifer and Josh make sure they spend quality time with their son, Oliver.

The "Once Upon A Time" cast members were spotted and photographed on their family day out with little Oliver on Tuesday, Oct. 28, in Canada. According to a Mail Online report, Ginnifer Goodwin wrapped herself with a camel coat over her grey top, scarf, beanie, jeans and green Hunter willies while her Prince Charming husband, Josh, wore a grey coat and jeans while pushing Oliver's stroller. Ginnifer Goodwin revealed that mother has changed her way of life as well as the amount of sleep she gets. The actress also revealed that her husband has been sleep-deprived since mid-May because of the baby duties.

"He always helps. He's my knight in shining armour," Goodwin shared. Aside from her work in OUAT, Oliver is what keeps Ginnifer Goodwin busy especially if the little boy is not asleep.

According to the actress, her son is now grabbing things and really examining them. The fans can catch couple Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas as on-screen couple Snow White/Mary Margaret and Prince Charming/David in "Once Upon a Time" Season 4 that airs on Sunday nights at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
