The golden Nexus 6P has launched in the US
The gold version of the Google and Huawei Nexus 6P model is now available for purchase in the US. The model is already available in Japan and India and now it will be sold in the United States through the US Google Store and Best Buy.
Huawei has announced about the gold-coloured Nexus 6P during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) press conference in Las Vegas. The announcement was not about any new specifications or design regarding the 6P model but it specified the new colour launch in the US, reports GSM Arena.
Consumers in the US can now buy the golden Nexus 6P from the US Google Store and learn in details about the model features on the website. The online site highlights all features and specs and also its safety and warranty information.
According to Android Police, the gold version of the Nexus 6P will be a special attraction to buyers. Consumers can buy the golden model from Best Buy online and brick-and-mortar stores.
Elegantly designed, the Nexus 6P is a purely Android smartphone. The device has a 5.7-inch AMOLED display screen with 518ppi. The phone is also powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 v2.1 processor and boasts of a long-lasting 3,450 mAH battery. A reversible USB Type-C port in the device ensures fast charging of its battery when connected.
Nexus 6P’s 12.3MP rear camera sensor promises 1.55μm that helps to capture more light and deliver ideal pictures even when the light is low. The phone uses an ergonomic fingerprint sensor to lock and unlock the phone by using your finger impression. It has Android 6.0 Marshmallow update running at its core. Supported by Android Pay, consumers can make payments for purchases through the app.
The phone appears in 32GB and 64GB variants and is priced at US$499 (approx. AU$709) and US$549 (approx. AU$781) respectively, notes Android Central.
