The Good and The Bad On Katy Perry’s 3D Concert Movie
Despite rumours that the concert movie of Katy Perry should or should not allow children to watch it, the end rating of a PG made the dream of every young kid or teenager get to see the life of their idol.
The reviews are out for the 'Wide Awake' star's movie and each has their own bad and good parts summed up about it.
The Good
The main plot of the movie which features the small beginning of a pop star as big as Katy Perry is highly inspiring. It shows that Perry's life is not always fun and candy-like so it seems.
She may also serve as a hot sex symbol to most men especially when she was ranked as one of the sexiest women by FHM Magazine, but in the movie, anyone would realize how 'healthy' she is in figure. 'Healthy' in a sense that unlike the other celebrities who try their best to look sexy even if they look like anorexics, Perry has a realistic physique.
The Bad
If there's anything that any adult audience would be turned off if they watch it with their kids is Katy Perry's naughty antics. This goes the same for the scandalous and double meaning lyrics of her song 'Peacock.'
Yes, the ever consistent colourful costume and production number is admirable but there's something that's not right with the wordplay. It is funny but not too cute for kids to hear and think about.
The parts where Katy Perry was shown crying over her divorce appeared a little bit overdramatic but of course, already a tear-jerker for young audiences.
As a whole, the 'Katy Perry: Part of Me' movie is done with amazing shots and perfect to be set in 3D with the whole candy land concept in it. It has all the right elements to make fans admire how true Katy Perry has been to herself and to be loved by so many just because of that.
What makes Katy Perry unique is that she can easily make a fan out of anyone. After watching the movie, anyone would want to listen to her next album or watch her next concert.
