Is the name Xbox 720? It seems that images circulating the Internet in Twitter and Reddit are featuring a show of Xbox with a curious Infinity simple beside it--could it be that the new name would be Xbox Infinity?

Slash Gear reports that aside from the seemingly new logo, a tagline, "Infinite entertainment. Infinite possibilities." Does this means that it's time to say goodbye to the Xbox 720 name and bid hello to the Xbox Infinity?

This bit of rumor is in line with how Microsoft aims to position its next-gen console--as a well-rounded entertainment hub that goes beyond gaming. Infinite possibilities for entertainment may have just found a great name.

Video feature moves Xbox 720 closer to PS4

It seems that the nearer the May 21 event comes, the more rumors circulating the similarity between Microsoft's next-gen console will be to Sony's.

In a recent report in GameSpot, the Xbox 720 (Xbox Infinity or Durango) is reported to have DVR-like video capabilities that would allow players to capture highlights of a gameplay and share them socially online.

If you remember the PS4 reveal event in February 20, this is one of the major highlights of the DualShock 4 controller's Share button, in Sony's hopes of putting the PS4 in the center of social connectivity.

Aside from this, the achievement system may also be rebooted to allow for more achievements without downloading add-ons. It was also reported that achievements may be linked to social gaming gatherings as communal achievements.

Is this Microsoft's way of putting in social connectivity into the next-gen Xbox?

Call of Duty: Ghosts, looking at late 2013 release on next-gen?

Last week, Call of Duty: Ghosts was called either a rumor or a mistake, but now developments show that the game may actually be looking at a late 2013 release for the next-gen consoles PS4 and Xbox 720.

The Examiner reports that the multiplatform game reportedly came with a product description in an online retailer, detailing that the game is currently in development using next-gen systems.

Given that the PS4 and next-gen Xbox are slated for a pre-Christmas release, it's not surprising if the new game comes out in roughly around the same timeframe.
