US electronics retailer Best Buy now offered up to $262.50 for Nexus 4 under T-Mobile. The retailer recently announced its new trade-in program in lieu of the launch of the successor of the smartphone.
If your LG Nexus 4 is in nearly perfect shape, you can receive up to $262.50. However, users can only receive around $250 if the smartphone has minor scratches.
Early this month, Google has slashed $100 off the LG Nexus 4 in the Google Play Store. This caused the device to run out of stock in less than a week.
All these signs pointed to the imminent release date of Google Nexus 5. Other evidences that the device is coming pretty soon are the leaked document from FCC as well as the video from Google that went viral.
According to the leaked FCC document, the alleged Google Nexus 5 will include features such as 4.96-inch screen, a Snapdragon 800 processor, LTE connectivity, NFC, CDMA/EV-DO, HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, and a 2300 mAh battery. It also comes with Google's latest Android 4.4 KitKat software.
Reports claimed that Google Nexus 5 release date may happen sometime in October, exactly a year since the company release the LG Nexus 4 in order to maximize profits.
Rumours have it that Google Nexus 5 will feature a 5-inch Full HD screen display; an eight-core processor clocked at 2.3 GHz paired with 3 GB of LPDDR3 RAM; 13 MP rear camera; 3300 mAh battery capacity and the latest Android OS.
Also, 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB variants of Google Nexus 5 plus support for 4G/LTE connectivity are some of the features that consumers want to see to the Google Nexus 5 release date.
However, Google has not confirmed the concrete release date for Google Nexus 5.
