The Android Beta Program was launched by Google in the previous month exclusively for Nexus device owners to let them the test the developer builds of Android 7.0 N OS before it is officially launched later this year. Earlier this month, Google had rolled out the second edition of Android N Developer Preview. It is poised to launch three more builds in the coming months.
Speculations indicate that the Android 7.0 will be officially released in July. As of this writing, the Android N Developer Preview builds are exclusively available for Nexus 6P, Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, Nexus 9 and Pixel C devices.
Speculations are rife that Google is working with HTC to release two Nexus smartphones this year. One of the 2016 Nexus smartphones is expected to feature 5-inch screen whereas the other one is reportedly going to arrive with 5.5-inch screen.
Each year, Google releases new Nexus smartphones along with the latest edition of Android. Hence, both the 2016 Nexus smartphones are rumoured to release in July with Android N onboard. Google is also rumoured to be working on a Nexus 7P that will be built by Huawei.
