Grammy Nominations Concert: Battle of the Pink-heads

Who rocked the stage better in their pink 'do: "The One that Got Away" singer Katy Perry or "Super Bass's'" raptress, Nicki Minaj?

Both singers took on the stage at Thursday night's Grammy Nominations Concert Live - The Countdown at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. Along with matching roles of announcing the nominees, both also wore matching hair styles.

Katy Perry not only donned the pink hair do but matched it with a pink lacy and long gown.

On the other hand, the raptress Nicki Minaj opted to go for a short teal dress showing a lot of her cleavage. Her high-wattage shoes and Barbie-style pink wig completed the look.

Talk about being so alike. Not only were they both rocking the pink-haired theme at last nights' live show, but both were also in matching pink hair do's at the last American Music Awards.

Does this look like a promotion for a mashup video or a song both stars are teaming up for? Chances are it could be or it could simply be that both stars were made up by one stylist.

Matching hair wasn't the only thing these two were identical on. Minaj and Perry were even tied on their nominations with two nominations each. Minaj received nominations for Best New Artist and the Best Rap Performance for the her song "Moment 4 Life".

As for Perry, she too had nominations for Song of the Year for "Firework" and Best Pop Solo Performance.

It would make fans of both stars wonder if they will sport matching styles at the actual Grammy Awards and maybe even win both nominations. People should definitely keep their fingers crossed if this is one thing they are not asking for.

If there is one thing Hollywood doesn't want, it's stars showing up on the red carpet wearing matching outfits. Matching hair styles does not make anything better too.
