The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics welcomes the year 2015 with a grand event for aerospace research, development and technology. The Science and Technology Forum and Exposition AIAA SciTech Forum 2015, which will be held on Jan 5 to 9, 2015, is an occasion for scientists and engineers worldwide to converge and to share cutting-edge research and the latest advancements in the field of aeronautics and astronautics. Around 3,000 participants from 40 countries are expected to take part in this five-day event at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Kissimmee, Florida.

The big event offers several enriching activities and features a consolidation of 2,500 technical papers from the participating institutions. A series of plenary sessions will be conducted every day to discuss the most significant concerns in aerospace at present. Renowned speakers from the government, industries and the academe will convey their views on upcoming challenges and new developments in the global space industry. Participants are sure to get more from panel discussions in the Forum 360 experience as they would have the chance to communicate with leaders of the industry in more interactive settings.

Highlighting 2,500 technical papers on aerospace studies from 40 countries is made possible in this single occasion. Integration of these relevant information was systematised with the 11 technical conferences where participants can obtain information about new technologies or discoveries developed by various institutions. The event will also be an opportunity for young aerospace professionals and students to expand their networks. Friendly acquaintances can be established in every activity whether it be dining at the Exposition Hall or a simple conversation at the hallways. There are ongoing workshops and short courses in Daytona and Miami prior to the main event. Participants are encouraged to register for AIAA's continuing education to have enhanced experience and access to the all the major activities.

On Jan 8, an awards luncheon will be held to recognise notable achievements in aerospace design and structures or literary excellence. Authors of technical papers will also receive citations for outstanding scientific and technical excellence.

The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics is an international society of aerospace professionals with more than 35, 000 individual members and 100 corporate associates.
