Celebrities doing heroic deeds are out. Yesterday, it was "Black Swan" star Mila Kunis; now it is Guy Sebastian who saved his wife and kid from grave danger.

Australian singer and new father, Guy Sebastian, shared how he defended his wife and son from a burglar who was trying to rob their Sydney home.

Guy arrived in his home after his terrified wife called that someone is trying to break into their home.

Guy told The Daily Telegraph "[Jules] was freaking out, [saying], 'He's turning the front door knob, he's trying to get in the front door. I told her to call the cops and she starts freaking out again because he was walking around the side of the house where [baby] Hudson's window is."

Guy rushed from his Surry Hills studio to his Clovelly home on a borrowed Harley-Davidson. He crashed his bike twice on the way. The singer forgot to put his helmet on as he sped towards home.

When the singer reached home, he confronted the intruder and gave him a great headbutt. Guy apprehended and pinned the burglar with his arms on the ground. Five minutes later, the cops arrived and arrested the man and charged him with break and enter.

Guy's New Single Out!

As Guy signed a new contract for his renewed commitment to Channel Seven's The X Factor, it was rumored that he got a bigger slice of the pie. The singer's new salary ranges from $350,000 to $800,000 for a one-year contract - a Seven spokeswoman confirmed Sebastian's return to the reality show. The reality show aims to recapture the audience lost due to Nine's The Voice

The singer recently released his new single entitled "Gold," which should not be mistaken with the classic hit of Spandau Ballet. Guy Sebastian said that his new single is his favorite song in his album because it makes him dance. The song is fast, fun and has an upbeat Motown feel to it.

Guy Sebastian will embark on a national tour in June.
