Miley Cyrus has confirmed in the recent interview that the cigarette she smoked on stage of the MTV European Music Awards in Amsterdam was in fact marijuana joint! But why did the 20-year-old do such an outrageous act on stage? Miley revealed the details of her smoking act during her interview with Capital FM on Tuesday where she pitches herself as a role model and feminist too.

Miley explained she smoked on stage because she was sure that her fans would love it and she thought it was quite funny. "It's not something that I think about," she said during the interview.

"I was just walking out of my room and then I was like, 'Oh, I have this in my bag. That will be really funny.' And I didn't say anything to anybody. It's not that I think about that ... and I don't tell anyone I'm gonna do it," Miley confessed.

So what does the "Wrecking Ball" singer thinks about all the hype surrounding her persona? Miley gives you her insights about how she thinks she is actually representing women in a way that has never been done before and considers herself as a role model! (Really Miley? Do you want kids to follow someone who smokes marijuana at 20!?)

"I just did it mostly because I knew the fans in Amsterdam would love it, and they started going crazy when I did it ... But I don't really care what the media says because I don't Google myself, so I don't know what they say. And I don't care," the singer elaborates further.

So what image is the singer trying to project to her fans, the smoking/twerking Miley or someone who has her own mind? Well Miley has answers to all your questions. She believes she is actually the greatest feminist of today's times.

"I feel like I'm one of the biggest feminists in the world because I tell women to not be scared of anything," Miley said during an interview with BBC Newsbeat. "Girls are all beautiful."[WATCH VIDEO BELOW]

But being feminist doesn't mean you are always under dressed and have to show your body. Miley has her reasons for being scantily dresses too!

"Guys get to show their t---ies on the beach, why can't we?" the "feminist" Miley says!

"I think I'm representing women in a cool way because people aren't used to girls that are just like, "I genuinely don't care what people think." And that's what guys have always gotten to be, and especially in, like, a rock industry or whatever," the songstress further added.

Miley kept reiterating the fact that she loves to do whatever she thinks is right and doesn't give a damn to her critics. Do you think Miley is being a "feminist" by wearing scanty clothes or you believe that a 20-year-old is still too young to understand the definition of the word "feminism?"
