Though Microsoft did not announce anything related to Halo 5 at its May 21 event, rumors on Halo 5 making it to the E3 2013 are still persistent. It was revealed, however, that Steven Spielberg has been tapped to be at the lead of a collaboration for Halo.

The most recent rumors about the title comes from GameSpot, where reports of a Bootcamp being seen on the Korean Game Rating Board, which is said to be the port for the Halo 3 for the PC.

However, getting in touch with Microsoft has proven that the Bootcamp is not in line with the planned TV series or the potential next-gen releases for the Xbox One. This could be further proof of the PC port, but unless whoever is responsible for the upcoming Bootcamp releases word, here's to waiting for the tangible Spielberg-led TV series.

Microsoft will stay with Xbox 360 for years to come

Now that the Xbox One is basking in the limelight after its official announcement, owners of current-gen console Xbox 360 have been wondering how it games will go from here on.

Given the many changes expected of the Xbox One, starting with its integration of lifestyle and entertainment into the gaming territory, it's not a surprise that some upcoming features and games that will come out for the Xbox One will no longer be available for the Xbox 360.

But according to Yusef Mehdi, senior vice president at Microsoft, this isn't the case. According to Game Informer, the Xbox 360 will still have activity for at least the next five years.

In fact, Microsoft is positive that it will sell 25 million more units, with half of the predicted number coming from new customers.

It's good to hear that Microsoft will not be quick to jump ship to its next generation console just so it can secure sales from loyal Xbox followers, as more predicted sales over the course of the years mean Microsoft will have to continue delivering quality output to entice Xbox 360 users to stay on the game.
