Happy Birthday, Robert Pattinson! A Collection of Kristen Stewart Beau's Modelling Photos Before He Became Edward Cullen [SLIDESHOW]

Robert Pattinson is celebrating his 27th birthday on May 13 (2013) and reports have it that things are planned down pat for a grand party his girlfriend, Kristen Stewart has prepared for the British hunk. From singing (with their new set of karaoke) to hitting the waters (likely paddleboarding in Malibu) and spending time with their common friends, all is set for the birthday celebrant.

No details have emerged as to how and where the couple is celebrating Rob’s birthday. They were last seen heading to JFK airport from New York City on May 8. But you know when Robert (and his GF, Kristen) are in town. Screams of their millions of tween fans could be heard blocks away as seen when Rob and Kristen are fulfilling their promotional duties. Post-Twilight screams may have gone a little quieter, but you can see still see them, so loud, in all of the photos released by their millions of fans who have been following their every move.

It will not be much of a surprise to see Twihards breaking the news of Rob’s 27th birthday, through their photos. They have remained solid since they began to follow his career when Rob began with the first installment of the Twilight series.

Before his audition for the role in August 2007, Robert shared that he was on his way back to London when he received the call to audition for the film that would later change his life. On his first day of audition, he had to act with Kristen - - on a kissing scene. Kristen later gushed over their audition and proudly claimed in the 2008 interivew with Vanity Fair that she “basically cast” Robert for the role.

"I basically cast him," Kristen was quoted as telling Vanity Fair by EOnline. "We did one day of auditions and a bunch of guys came in. Catherine Hardwicke, the director, afterwards was like, 'What do you think? This is such a hard choice.' I was like, 'Are you kidding me?! It's such an obvious choice!' It couldn't have been better. It was sort of perfect."
The stars in Robert and Kristen were born.

But before he propelled to international superstardom , Robert was just a “shy, timid and reserved boy” as described by British model, Lucy Flower whom Rob has worked with in his first stint as a model. He was only 15, said Flower when Robert first stripped before the camera.

"Robert was such a shy, reserved little boy back then, I never would have thought he had that kind of superstardom ahead of him!" Flower said in an interview with The Star in April 2009.

Lucy also said, "Robert told me he had done a little bit of catwalk work but that this was the first time he had ever done a photoshoot with a girl," before adding, “"Also, I don't believe he was very comfortable with the outfit he had to wear and the fact that he was shirtless. So it's not surprising that he was so quiet and seemed so nervous that day."

Robert then continued with his modelling until he made his way to Hollywood as Edward Cullen. And with Kristen, the rest they say, is history.
