'Harry Potter's' Emma Watson To Work with Director Alejandro Amenabar?
Obviously, Emma Watson has landed another film role. That's what the photos suggest of the "Harry Potter" star all smiles over the weekend. The 23-year old actress was spotted giving a smooch and hug to Spanish director, Alejandro Amenabar. Is a movie starring Emma set to be in the works?
Since leaving "Harry Potter", Emma Watson has jumped on to countless films namely "The Perks of Being a Wallflower," "This is The End" and "The Bling Ring." Despite being busy with college, Watson proves she can handle the film and the fame. For one, Watson is set to shoot a few other films this year until the next. Emma is set to star in "Your Voice in My Head" and "While We're Young."
It seems a lot of directors have been impressed by Emma's acting prowess that she's constantly being eyed and nabbed for film roles. Judging from what went on during the weekend, the British beauty managed to snag the heart of Spanish director, Alejandro Amenabar.
For those who don't know, Alejandro Amenabar is a Spanish director well-known for his work, "The Others and The Sea Inside." Could it be that Emma would soon star in an Amenabar-directed film? Fans of the British beauty can only hope.
Also, Alejandro isn't the only director that has caught glimpse of Watson's acting finesse. All thanks to "The Bling Ring", Scarlett Johansson is said to eye Emma Watson for the lead part in her directorial debut, "Summer Crossing."
Other film that Watson fans should look forward to is the Darren Aronofsky film, "Noah" where she joins forces once again with Logan Lerman. "Noah" was slated for release this year but had been pulled back due to the negative comments it earned from both the Catholic and Christian community.
For now, Emma is busy flying from Los Angeles to London and back. As for Emma's other "Potter" mates, Daniel Radcliffe is busy promoting his flick, "Kill Your Darlings" while Rupert Grint is making heads roll with his comedic series, "Super Clyde."
Rumours claim the "Golden Trio," Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint, might make a cameo for the upcoming "Potter" spin-off, "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them." As of late, no news as to who among Hollywood's hottest would play the lead part of Newt Scamander.
