Harry Styles admits to having 'hooked up' with a fan during awkward interview
One Direction shared some of their most intimate secrets during a guest appearance on “The Ellen Show” on Wednesday to promote their new album, “Made in the A.M.” The boys also participated in a game called “Never Have I Ever." Among the boys, it was Harry Styles who had the most awkward experience participating in the game, especially when show host Ellen DeGeneres asked some rather personal questions.
The video below taken from their interview on “The Ellen Show” shows the boys each holding paddles labelled with the phrase “I Have” and “I Have Never.” The boys were asked to answer a series of questions using their paddles. One of the questions had the studio audience in cheers when DeGeneres asked, “Never Have I Ever Hooked Up With A Fan,” and Styles held out his “I Have” sign.
Among the One Direction members, which include Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson, only Styles admitted to having made out with a fan. However, he didn’t expound on his answer and managed to joke that his paddle is broken.
DeGeneres read another question out loud and asked, "I have never made out with someone double my age." Styles is heard in the video below complaining about the question, saying, “What is this game?” while the audience again burst into cheers and claps.
The 21-year-old decided not to lift his paddle to reveal his answer. However, he had it placed on his knee flipped on the “I Have” side. Meanwhile, the other boys all admitted to never having slept with someone double their age.
At the end of the game, DeGeneres thanked the band for their participation. She especially thanked Payne, Tomlinson and Horan for their honesty. As for Styles, the show host joked that he needs to bring his paddle home with him so he would learn how to play “Never Have I Ever” properly.
According to The Sun, back in 2011, Styles and “The X-Factor UK” host Caroline Flack made headlines after they were rumoured to be dating. At that time, the One Direction singer was only 17 and Caroline was 31. Years later, the rumours were confirmed after Flack penned her autobiography, “Storm in a C Cup,” where she talked about her brief romance with Styles.
