Harvard twins appeal Facebook court ruling anew
In the appeal, the Winklevosses claim that the case needs to be reviewed by an eleven-judge panel.
Twins Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss have filed another appeal Monday against Harvard classmate and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg.
In the appeal, the Winklevosses claim that the case, which was the focus of the box-office hit and Academy Award winning film, ‘The Social Network’, needs to be reviewed by an eleven judge panel.
The twins are contesting the decision made by the three-judge panel of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruling against them and in favor of Facebook founder.
In the ruling last week, the three-judge panel underscored that the twins were educated and sophisticated negotiators with efficient legal team when they made the deal in 2008 that give the twins and a third associate, Divya Narendra 20 million each plus stock in the company.
But the Winklevoss brothers claimed in their appeal that Zuckerberg made false representation of the actual worth of the company at the time of the legal battle.
