'Hawaii Five-0' season 7 episode 15 spoilers: Team works on case involving shark finning; comes across possible World War II Nazi criminal in ‘Ka Pa’ani Nui/Big Game’
Original air date on CBS: February 3, 2017
“Hawaii Five-0” took a short break last week to make way for the February sweeps. When the crime drama returns on February 3, the team will be presented with a case that has strong historical ties with a European World War II setting.
Spoiler alert! This article contains “Hawaii Five-0” spoilers. Read on if you would like to know what happens before the next episode airs.
Previously, the show presented a case of territory as it upheld the jurisdiction of the sovereign Nation of Hawaii. A suspect in a murder investigation surfaced in Kanuha and the team needed to probe. However, this man had something under his sleeve as he sought shelter in the Nation of Hawaii, where they do not have authority. All they had was that if they could prove him guilty, they could go in and arrest him.
Things got worse when Mashal Lincoln (Lou Diamond Phillips) turned up and made it very clear that he does not have any control, at all, over the case. It was turning into a federal matter very quickly. The team had to resolve the issue before the sun set, otherwise, authorities were going to go in and take Kanuha by force.
In the next episode, titled “ Ka Pa’ani Nui” or “Big Game,” the team will come across a case like no other. The official synopsis on TV.com reveals that while the team works on a murder case that closely involves the prohibited practice of shark finning, they will uncover a possibility that a former Nazi war criminal might be hiding somewhere in Hawaii.
Historical investigations are not exactly new to “Hawaii Five-0.” Before, the team came across a case that entertained the decades-old mystery of John F. Kennedy’s killer. Now, the show goes a few decades back once more, as it looks at someone who could have a hand in some atrocities during World War II.
Season 7 episode 15 of “Hawaii Five-0” will air February 3 at 9 p.m. on CBS in the US. It also airs on the TEN Channel in Australia.
