The title of "Hawaii Five 0" Season 7, episode 23 is "Wehe 'ana," which is a Hawaiian word that translates to "Prelude" in English. It means an event or action that serves as an introduction to a more important happening. This episode will show Danny protecting a key witness who is in a coma and is showing signs of waking up soon. According to a CBS press release, the witness was from Danny’s last HPD case before he met Steve and eventually joined the Five-0 team.

"Wehe 'ana" will be shown the week after a repeat broadcast of Season 7, episode 9, "Elua la ma Nowemapa / Two Days in November" is aired on CBS this Friday. It's about the Five-0 team investigating the John F Kennedy (JFK) assassination, one of the most notorious unsolved mysteries in history. It focuses on the murder of a conspiracy theorist, who also happens to be Jerry's friend. He questioned why JFK’s cabinet was in Oahu just before he was assassinated.
The episode before the rebroadcast of "Elua la ma Nowemapa / Two Days in November)" is "Waimaka 'ele'ele / Black Tears," which aired last April 14 in the US. It featured Steve learning about his grandfather’s role during Pearl Harbor while working on the murder case of one of the last survivors of the USS Arizona.
"Hawaii Five 0" airs in the US every Friday from 9-10 pm EST on CBS. "Wehe 'ana / Prelude" will air on April 28. It also airs on the TEN Channel in Australia.
