This Heart Attack Social Experiment Video Will Show You How People React To Sudden Cardiac Arrest [VIDEO]
On Jan. 25, 2015, 9GAG published their YouTube prank video titled "Heart Attack Prank In Public (Social Experiment) | 9GAG TV." In the video, YouTube prankster Joey Salads stars as a man who suddenly gets a heart attack in public in order to get reactions from passers-by.
The video begins with Salads explaining what the prank's agenda is about. "I'm in New York City today, and i'm gonna be having a heart attack on the sidewalk. And let's see if people stop to help, let's see how good New Yorkers are." Salads then states that he doesn't think New Yorkers are good people, but he wants to be proven wrong.
Salads then randomly falls to the ground, to the surprise of onlookers. Some pedestrians immediately attempt to help the prankster while others appear to flee from the scene. At the end of the video, Salads reveals the prank and congratulates those who tried to give him assistance. He concludes that some people help and others don't while others run away for no apparent reason.
Joey Salads has made several prank and social experiment videos, including an Ebola virus scare and car robbery prank clip on his YouTube channel. This heart attack prank video was made in association with 9GAG. Watch the video here.
