Hillary Clinton may run for presidential elections come 2016. Many Americans are expecting that she will announce her candidacy anytime on Sunday or earlier. She has reportedly leased an office for her campaign headquarters in Brooklyn. Her announcement for presidential bid will follow a campaign travel.

When that happens, her husband and former president of the United States, Bill Clinton, will stay out of limelight. His role will be as limited as giving advice for the campaign and eventually, the election. He advised his wife to “embrace the campaign as a fresh start” and brush off the “culture of inevitability.”

The former president added that it is important for Hillary to go out, campaign as if she has never sought for any public office before and establish her connection with the voters. As for Bill, he quipped he will continue serving at Clinton Foundation.

Hillary climbs up and down in the election polls, but she is consistently the strongest contender from both the Republicans and Democratic rivals. She is Democratic Party’s fore-runner. Should Hillary win the presidential race, Bill believes it will have an impact on Clinton Foundation. Its rules might change again, although he said they have not gone as far as talking about it and they never should.

“It is hard for any party to hang on to the White House for 12 years, and it is a long road. A thousand things could happen,” The Hill quoted Bill, who also said the foundation implemented each suggestion recommended to him when it was reviewed last year.

Bill believes the Clinton Foundation is the most transparent presidential foundation. In fact, it is the most transparent major foundation in the United States, according to him.

In 2008, Bill’s role in Hillary’s presidential candidacy sparked tension as several of the former’s political advisers joined the latter’s campaign while others bickered with Hillary’s staff. In the past several months, Hillary reportedly signed contracts with the best people to help in her candidacy. Included in the new team are former strategists and advisers of President Barrack Obama.

Hillary served as the first lady from 1993 to 2001. When she quit the presidential race in 2008 to support President Barack Obama, she held the position of Secretary of State from 2009 to 2013. She recently drew controversy when she said she cleared her email servers used when she was still the state secretary. If she wins the White House, she will be the first female leader of the country.
