"Rocket League" developer Psyonix confirmed several information about its hit indie game. New DLC packs, a game trailer and a new patch for "Rocket League" are set to roll out next month.

Since its launch as a free beta title earlier this year, “Rocket League” has been popular among PS4 owners. Psyonix has been continuing support for the game and has promised to bring big things for the game’s community.

Psyonix recently launched a major patch for the game. According to Techtimes, the patch includes bug fixes for PC users and other issues in the game. Players may notice a fix on the item tracking stats and on one achievement/trophy named Virtuoso for the PC.

The developers also provided a new way of displaying win/loss ratio on a player’s stat page by changing it into a winning percentage instead. A new punishment policy is also now in place for players who leave during ranked matches. Finally, players' average skill level will no longer be a hindrance, as the developer added a new ability of bots to adjust skill levels.

The game developers also confirmed on the website of "Rocket League" that they are going to release a pair of DLCs in the coming weeks. The first of the DLC is a free map that is inspired by Utopia. The map will feature a regular stadium-style form instead of the previous circular form. On the other hand, the second DLC pack, dubbed Paid Supersonic Fury, is geared toward introducing a pair of new vehicles.

Other gaming features that fans could expect from the update include a 3v4 team ranked mode and a solution that allows cross-platform gaming among friends. Psyonix has also taken into consideration some players who get affected by server outages with an item called "Thanks For Not Killing Us." Players will also be able to watch other matches using spectator mode.
