Hollywood Hunk Ryan Gosling Is The Newest Celebrity In Sydney’s Madame Tussauds
Mobbed by screaming fans on Valentine's Day, Ryan Gosling is the latest addition in Sydney's Madame Tussauds wax museum. The actor's wax figure was suited up with a white shirt, leather shoes, slacks and navy tuxedo jacket that created a realistic-looking Ryan with girls swooning around him.
The brand new figurine was featured in a pop-up photo booth outside Madame Tussauds in Sydney's Darling Harbour. Fans of the much-loved actor got the chance to take a selfie with the Hollywood star's wax figure and go home with a "Hey girl" meme. The humorous memes became popular in 2010 after the actor read aloud the posts made about him on Tumblr.
"His eyes won't be the only thing you're staring at though, with the wax figure also featuring his trademark washboard abs," according to Madame Tussauds. "Without his usual security and entourage, you can hug, touch and kiss Ryan, however as he's over six feet tall you might not come eye-to-eye with him but more eye-to-ab."
The memes include a flirty Ryan saying, "Hey girl. Feel my abs, they're made of boyfriend material... and wax." While the other one reads, "Hey girl. You are so hot you melt my wax." Gosling joins other Hollywood A-listers in the wax museum, like Angelina Jolie, Taylor Swift, Johnny Depp and Leonardo DiCaprio.
Known for his role in "The Notebook" and "Gangster Squad," Gosling was recently linked to Bill Condon's live-action "Beauty and the Beast." Currently under negotiations to play the Beast opposite Emma Watson's Belle, the father of one has a history of turning down big roles in favour of working in low-budgeted films.
He recently made his directorial debut, "Lost River," and it is scheduled to be released in theatres later this year. The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2014.
The 34-year-old actor will also star in Shane Black's noir throwback "The Nice Guys" where he plays a private investigator, Holland March, in a story set in the 1970s. Gosling is acting alongside Australian actor Russell Crowe, Matt Bomer and Kim Basinger and is set for release in June 2016.
