Flirting with danger seems to be the central theme of “Home and Away” for its last salvo this week. On Thursday, Dr Nate Cooper (Kyle Pryor) will have another spat with Ricky Sharpe (Bonnie Sveen). Their marital issues seem to be taking a toll on him, so he chooses to drink away his problems. He won’t be able to control his booze, but Tori Morgan (Penny McNamee) walks in just at the right time to save him. Fans wonder where a drunken night would lead, and whether Tori would offer more than a shoulder to cry on for Nate.

Meanwhile, Katarina Chapman (Pia Miller) puts pressure on Josh Barrett (Jackson Gallagher) to take responsibility for his actions. Other “Home and Away” cast members who will also appear on the June 2 instalment include Roo Stewart, Alf Stewart (Ray Meagher), Leah Patterson-Baker (Ada Nicodemou), VJ Patterson (Matthew Little), Billie Ashford (Tessa De Josselin), Dom Moran (Sam North), Phoebe Nicholson (Isabella Giovinazzo), Evelyn “Evie” MacGuire (Philippa Northeast), Andy Barrett (Tai Hara), Matt Page (Alec Snow), John Palmer (Shane Withington), Zac Macguire (Charlie Clausen), Chris Harrington (Johnny Ruffo), Wayne “Tank” Snelgrove (Reece Milne), Skye Peters (Marlo Kelly), Martin “Ash” Ashford (George Mason), Olivia Richards (Raechelle Banno) and Hunter King (Scott Lee).

Back to the Bay reports that on Thursday, Skye and Tank fight for their relationship and decide to do a runner. Acting on impulse, Leah asks Billie to move in with the family. Meanwhile, Olivia and Hunter sort out their issues and are okay again. However, Hunter is concerned how Olivia would take Skye’s reckless move. Elsewhere, Nate turns to alcohol to distract him from thinking about his marital problems, while Kat implores Josh to own up to what he did.

Seven Network posted a sneak peek for tonight’s episode. The trailer shows Olivia talking to Hunter about her counseling sessions. She happily shares that she is starting to feel normal again. He tells her he’s proud of her, and thinks that she’s brave for doing it. The two kiss passionately but before they could go further, Hunter pulls away and says they’re not doing anything until she feels comfortable about it. Olivia smiles in appreciation of Hunter’s willingness to wait when she’s ready.

In another preview video, Olivia is freaking out while she lashes at Chris. Skye, on the other hand, drops the L-bomb to Tank and the two are seen driving off. Meanwhile, Nate and Ricky argues again, this time about her ex sending a birthday card to her son. Nate goes to a bar and ends up drinking too much. Tori appears to the rescue and it looks like she’ll bring him to her house.

"Home and Away" recap

In the previous episode, Leah and Zac were taken aback when they saw Billie sneaking out to the door. Billie apologised for spending the night without telling them. She said she was just too tired. Leah said it was understandable since she’s on her first trimester. Zac asked her to stay for breakfast. Leah could not contain herself and talked to them about Billie spending the night. Since they have to spend more time together anyway because of the baby, Leah said she’s okay for Billie to stay over, as long as it doesn’t affect VJ’s studies.

Later, Billie was taken aback when she saw someone familiar during a training session. The woman asked her, “Do I know you?” Billie quickly said no, and walked off. After the session, the woman approached her and said she remembered seeing Billie at the hospital. It turned out that the woman was a doctor whom Billie consulted before. When the doctor asked Billie about her pregnancy, she answered abruptly and walked off. Billie saw the doctor’s security pass from her bag and snatched it. She then went to the hospital, used the woman’s pass to break into her office, where she fiddled around the computer and changed the date of her conception. However, on her way out, Billie got caught by the doctor. Billie fibbed and said the doctor left it this morning and she went there to give it to her.

Elsewhere, Alf saw Roo walking aimlessly outside while she was still in her nightgown. Fortunately, he catches her before she falls over. Roo looked worriedly weak and fragile, and she didn’t know where she was or how she got there. Alf brought her home, and when she felt a bit better, he talked to her about her state. Roo confessed that she still has trouble sleeping as a result of recent events. She also informed him about Maddy’s sudden departure, including the note. When Roo went to her room to sleep, Alf saw the empty bottle of sleeping pills on the kitchen counter. He also saw a packet of Maddy’s medicines, with a few tablets gone.

Alf confronted Roo about the medicines and asked if she’s taken them. Roo denied it and told his dad not to judge her. Alf asked her to be careful. Whilst Roo assured him she’s fine, Alf still looked unconvinced. Later, when Alf brought her some groceries, Roo confessed that she did take Maddy’s medications in an attempt to block all the bad feelings she’s having about Maddy’s leaving and the accident.

Dom went to Phoebe to talk about his wife’s arrival. Phoebe said what he did – keeping his marital status from her – was unfair. “I thought we had something good,” she said, and added that she needed to protect herself from hurting. Dom owned up to his mistake and said he doesn’t want to lose what they have. He asked Phoebe for another chance. Later, Dom took Tess out for lunch to talk about their relationship. Tess started rambling off that their marriage should not be over. She placed her hand on Dom’s and insisted that he still has feelings for her. Tess then said she’s staying in town for her family. Afterwards, Dom went to Phoebe and said he laid out everything on the table with Tess. Despite Phoebe’s appeal to Dom earlier to tell her the truth, Dom lied and said Tess was cool with it.
