‘Home and Away’ spoilers for June 29: The Morgans struggle to deal with Mason’s betrayal, fear that they’re being spied on

Learning how to handle shocking blows seems to be the central theme of the upcoming episode of “Home and Away.” On Wednesday, Tori Morgan (Penny McNamee) , Justin Morgan (James Stewart) and Brody Morgan (Jackson Heywood) are completely taken aback when they learn that Mason Morgan (Orpheus Pledger) has revealed their family secret to his girlfriend. They are also faced with a looming danger: someone seems to be hot on their trail. Fans wonder how this will impact their stay at Summer Bay.

Back to the Bay reports that Irene’s nightmares aren’t over yet – she’s clearly traumatised over what happened and she can’t get out the horrific incident from her mind. Meanwhile, Roo moves back home to look after her father. Elsewhere, the Morgans are shocked to find that their secret is out, courtesy of Mason. They also have to deal with a stranger who seems to be spying on them.

Seven Network posted a sneak peek of the June 29 episode. In the trailer, Brody observes that he was being followed by someone. Tori asks him if he was able to take a good look at the driver. Meanwhile, Lara urges Mason to tell her what’s going on. Tori finds out about Lara and lashes at Mason for being irresponsible and for putting their family in danger.

Elsewhere, Irene wants things to get back to normal again, but she suffers from having horrible flashbacks. Nate suggests she join a support group that deals with post-traumatic stress.

“Home and Away” recap

On Tuesday, Andy met with his former partner in crime, telling him that he’s back in the game. Andy said his brother is in trouble and he needs money to get him out of it. So he’s willing to go back to his car rebirthing schemes. Shortly after, Andy received his first task.

At Angelo’s, Tori confronted Nate about being too harsh on Mason. Nate told her about Alf’s fall and Mason’s mistake of not alerting the staff. Tori said that doesn’t warrant Nate dressing Mason down in front of his peers. She said that instead of yelling at her brother, he should have used that mistake to educate him and the rest of the group. Tori believed that Nate is venting his frustrations about his personal life at his work, particularly on Mason.

Later, Nate talked to Mason and the things seemed to be okay between them. However, Mason got in trouble again when his girlfriend showed up at the hospital while he’s still on his shift. Nate shared this piece of information with Tori and she said Mason doesn’t have a girlfriend. Nate said he saw Mason kissing the girl and Tori was floored with the news.

Meanwhile, Brody told Phoebe that the restaurant needs a makeover. She excitedly agreed. The two discussed about the place’s complete overhaul, including its name. They had fun and harmlessly flirted while brainstorming some ideas for the restaurant.

Despite repeatedly objecting to the idea, Roo had to shut down the shop after being ordered by Alf. When she told Justin about it, he was disheartened to find out he won’t have a job after all. He shared this with Brody and Phoebe, and she suggested working with Ash and Andy. When Justin went over to the garage, he saw Andy talking to his partner in crime. Justin walked off and bumped into Ash. Justin said he won’t be working on a place that’s not legit, and revealed that Andy’s up to illegal activities. Ash confronted him about it and Andy denied doing something wrong. Ash believed him.

Meanwhile, Evie still absolutely devastated over her breakup with Josh. While she was thinking things over, Mason walked in on her and saw her crying. She opened up to him about her feelings. When Lara saw him giving Evie a hug, she assumed that was the reason why he brushed her off earlier at the hospital. Later, Mason insisted that Evie was just a friend, but Lara did not buy it. She wants him to be totally honest with her, and threatened to break up with him if he didn’t. Backed into a corner, Mason was forced to admit his family’s secret: they are under witness protection.
