“Home and Away” recap
In the previous episode, Olivia and Hunter savoured their reconciliation and decided to go to a campus tour together. The two were actually having fun, until Olivia’s soon-to-be schoolmates appeared to look down on Hunter for not going to uni. Worse, a guy even told Hunter that Olivia is way out of his league, making him snap. Mason intervened before things get worse. Earlier, Mason kept assuring his brothers that he’s fine after his breakup with Olivia but it didn’t seem that way at all. He even snapped at Justin, who was just trying to comfort him. Later, Hunter told Olivia his fears and insecurities, saying that they may run into more problems. However, she assured him that they’ll make it work whatever happens.
Meanwhile, Ash received death certificate in the mail, making him emotional about his sister’s death again. He turned to Kat for comfort and things soon heated up between them. After, Kat told him that they could rekindle their romance without hiding it from anyone else anymore. Later, Kat received a call and they learned that Ash’s brother is not dead.
Ellie wasn’t too happy about Matt and Evie’s plans to move to Vietnam with her. She’s upset that the two made decisions without consulting her. Upset, Ellie confided in on Raffy about the trip. Raffy made her friend realise that Matt’s not her legal guardian and therefore, he can’t make Ellie do anything. Later, Ellie told Matt that she’s not going to Vietnam. She told him that he’s not her legal guardian and she’s choosing to stay in Summer Bay. Matt told Evie about Ellie’s refusal to leave, saying that he can’t go to Vietnam. He encouraged Evie to go and pursue her dreams, but she said she’ll be staying there as well.
