‘Home and Away' spoilers for May 19: Evie is on a warpath against Andy and Leah; Nate and Ricky’s marriage is in trouble [VIDEO]

“Home and Away” wraps the week with an episode that centres on shocking truths and heartbreaking revelations. On Thursday, Evelyn “Evie” MacGuire (Philippa Northeast) and Josh Barrett (Jackson Gallagher) discover that it was Andy Barrett (Tai Hara) who caused the tragic accident. Expectedly, Evie lashes at Andy and confronts Leah Patterson-Baker (Ada Nicodemou) for keeping the truth from everyone. Elsewhere, the recent turn of events are taking its toll on the marriage of Ricky Sharpe (Bonnie Sveen) and Dr Nate Cooper (Kyle Pryor). Fans wonder whether they could still find a way to save their relationship.

Back to the Bay reports that on Thursday, Roo feels that the fundraising fiasco was her fault. Meanwhile, Phoebe finds out about Ash and Kat’s secret and feels betrayed. Nate and Ricky’s marriage continue to go downhill, while Skye becomes drawn in to Tank. Elsewhere, Zac and Evie are devastated when they find out that Leah already knew who was responsible in the tragic accident.

Network Seven posted a sneak peek for the May 19 episode. In the preview video, Evie comes charging at Andy after learning that he is the one who caused the explosion. She repeatedly hits him while screaming, “I hate you!” until Josh stops her. Feeling helpless, Andy walks away and Josh attempts to calm down Evie. However, Evie continues to be on a warpath as she confronts Leah in front of Zac. Evie asks Leah, “How could you lie to me?” Thursday’s episode also shows that Skye and Tank grow closer. However, Jon intervenes and warns Skye to stay away from Tank.

"Home and Away" recap

Wednesday’s episode showed Maddy struggling as she suffered from the infection spreading through her body. As the search for her intensified, Tanya raised the white flag and made amends with Roo. Evie suggested checking the activity of Maddy and Matt’s joint account for rent, which led them to Maddy’s location. They found Maddy unconscious and immediately brought her to the hospital. Later, she finally came to and apologised to Matt. When asked why she took off, Maddy said that she needed some time away from it all. “Everyone telling me that it’s going to be okay just made things worse,” she shared. However, her recent near-death experience made her realise that she needs to fight and not allow her physical disability change her.

Later, Tanya offered Maddy to leave Summer Bay and live with her in the city. “Let me take care of you,” Tanya pleaded. Maddy discussed Tanya’s offer with Matt, saying she was seriously considering it.

Meanwhile, Andy and Leah argued about telling the truth to Evie. Leah thought that Evie is not yet ready and that things may get worse with Andy’s admission. Elsewhere, Tank revealed to Skye that he decided to take the blame on the accident to protect someone. When Skye threatened him to tell her or else he won’t see her again, Tank came clean and said it was Andy who caused the explosion. Tank then made Skye promise not to tell anyone about the truth. However, Skye wasn’t able to keep her mouth shut and blurted to Evie and Josh that Andy was the one responsible for the accident, not Tank.
