It’s going to be a heavily dramatic day at Summer Bay as “Home and Away” closes the week. On Thursday, Zac Macguire (Charlie Clausen) finds himself backed in a corner and sees no choice but to confess the truth to Leah Patterson-Baker (Ada Nicodemou). Spoilers suggest that it’s not as bad as Marilyn Chambers (Emily Symons) thinks, but Leah would still not be happy with the outcome.

Meanwhile, Brody Morgan (Jackson Heywood) continues to pursue Jeannie Woods (Anna Bamford), but he’s gutted when she gives him a series of hot-and-cold treatment. The Nov. 3 episode also features other “Home and Away” cast members including Katarina Chapman (Pia Miller), Martin “Ash” Ashford (George Mason), Hunter King (Scott Lee), Olivia Richards (Raechelle Banno), VJ Patterson (Matthew Little), John Palmer (Shane Withington) and Irene Roberts (Lynne McGranger).

Back to the Bay reports that on Thursday, Olivia is furious about Hunter’s string of lies. She tries to distance herself from him, but VJ meddles into their relationship and tries to bring them back together. Meanwhile, Brody realises that he has another chance at Jeannie. Ash, on the other hand, is determined to make his and Kat’s problem go away – he tries again to delete their photos from Simmo’s laptop. Elsewhere, Zac finally tells Leah the truth.

Seven Network posted a sneak peek of the upcoming episode. In the trailer, Olivia lashes out at Hunter, incredulous that he’s asking her to lie. “I just need you to back me up,” Hunter insists. Olivia seems to agree with his plan, but her guilt may overwhelm her. Later, Irene tells Hunter to leave Olivia alone.

The preview video also shows Jeannie, who confronts Brody about following her in her job interview and lying to impress her. Meanwhile, John blurts out to Zac about Marilyn’s suspicions, saying, “Marilyn’s worried that you’re having an affair.”

“Home and Away” recap

In the previous episode, Tori confronted Nate about his plans to leave the Bay. He said there’s nothing left for him to stay there, and Tori realised he’s leaving because of her. She told Duncan about it and when he wondered whether she feels the same way, she denied it. Later, however, Tori talked to Marilyn and it seemed that she’s confused about her feelings. At Salt, Tori approached Nate and she opened up to him about why she pulled back during that time when things were getting interesting between them. She also told Nate to take the job somewhere if that’s what he really wants, but not to go because of her. Tori thought she got through him, but Nate said he has decided – he’s going to take the job.

Meanwhile, Zac and Leah took Hunter and Olivia to a pre-exam dinner at Salt. Hunter was stressing over failing the exams and not being accepted at the uni. In the middle of their dinner, Zac received a message from Sam and he took off. Later, Marilyn spotted Zac with Sam inside her car. He was thanking her for what he did for her, and he leaned in to give her a kiss on the cheek. Marilyn shared this with John and he joked that something’s going on between them.

At home, Leah was gutted to find that there’s a lipstick mark on Zac’s top. She confronted him about it, saying that it’s not hers, but he said he doesn’t know. He then made an excuse saying that some girl at school had her birthday and hugged him. Leah tried to ignore her sneaking suspicions and cuddled up to Zac, but he said he’s beat and asked for a raincheck. The next day, Marilyn tried to squeeze out the truth from Zac, but he lied about where he was last night. Marilyn fretted and confided in on John. She’s feeling conflicted about what to tell Leah and became determined to find out what’s going on.

Meanwhile, Hunter panicked when he didn’t wake up in time and was late for the exam. He rushed to school but the examiner didn’t let Hunter in. Frustrated, Hunter hurried to Zac’s office and sought his dad’s help. However, Zac couldn’t do anything to help him and Hunter would get a zero mark unless he gives a valid excuse. Hunter lied and said he was sick, and asked Olivia to help him back his story up.
