“Home and Away” recap

In the previous episode, Hope got arrested and refused to see Raffy, who still isn’t talking to the Morgans. Fed up with Hope’s behaviour, Justin went to visit Hope in prison and lashed out at her. Later, Hope asked Kat to call a doctor since she’s having trouble sleeping. While Nate was talking to Kat, Hope stole the sleeping pills from his kit. The next day, Kat checked in on Hope and was surprised to see the troubled woman unconscious, with a bottle of pills lying next to her.

Meanwhile, Ash broke into Simmo’s home to delete the incriminating photos on his laptop. He managed to guess the password and started erasing the pictures, but the police arrived to serve a warrant to search Simmo’s home. Ash hid in one of the rooms and accosted Simmo’s girlfriend. Shortly after, the officers left and headed back to the station. When the cops asked Simmo to show the photos, they were gone – it seemed Ash was successful in his mission. It looked like Kat and Ash got off the hook… this time.

Elsewhere, Zac told Sam about his wife’s misgivings about their working relationship. Sam went to Leah’s house to clear the air and apologise for offending her. Sam also asked Leah to support Zac’s dream of writing his own book, to which Leah agreed. Sam’s last words to her raised Leah’s doubts again, but she encouraged Zac to pursue his writing project. Later, Zac met Sam to work on his book. He made it clear that Leah and his family are his priority. But as Zac and Sam drank wine, it’s clear that his editor is not giving up on pursuing him.
