‘Home and Away’ spoilers for Oct. 13: Nate is determined to expose Billie’s secret; romance grows between Matt and Evie

Summer Bay seems to have an endless supply of surprises and revelations, and the upcoming episode of “Home and Away” is no exception. On Thursday, Nate Cooper (Kyle Pryor) has had enough of Billie Ashford’s (Tessa De Josselin) lies and gears up to reveal the truth to VJ Patterson (Matthew Little). Billie pulls out all the stops to prevent Nate from doing so, and fans wonder whether she’ll succeed.

Meanwhile, another shocker awaits followers of the long-running soap: a budding romance between Evelyn “Evie” MacGuire (Philippa Northeast) and Matt Page (Alec Snow). The Oct. 13 episode also features other “Home and Away” cast members including Tori Morgan (Penny McNamee), Justin Morgan (James Stewart), Brody Morgan (Jackson Heywood) Mason Morgan (Orpheus Pledger), Phoebe Nicholson (Isabella Giovinazzo) and Ellie Page (Darcey Wilson).

Back to the Bay reports that on Thursday’s run, Tori helps Hope and Raffy get ready about Decker’s deteriorating condition. Meanwhile, Nate is so close to blowing the whistle on Billie. Elsewhere, Ellie is tired of her brother hovering over her – she makes a risky move to take Matt’s attention elsewhere. It’s not long before Matt finds out what Ellie’s trying to do and decides to teach her a lesson. However, it seems he’s the one surprised when he realises he’s feeling something for Evie.

Seven Network posted a sneak peek of the upcoming run. In the trailer, Billie warns Nate that if he rats her out, she’ll ruin him. Unfazed, Nate replies, “Go for it.” he might not wake up. Meanwhile, Decker has another health crisis and Tori tells Hope and Raffy that they need to accept the possibility that he may never recover. Elsewhere, Raffy comes up with an idea to get Matt off Ellie’s back: to set him up with Evie. The two young girls arrange a date for Matt and Evie. Matt gets the picture and he and Evie pretends they’re a couple. They kiss in front of Ellie and are surprised that they like it.

“Home and Away” recap

On Wednesday, Kat regretted sleeping with Ash, saying it can’t happen again. When she arrived home, Phoebe teased her where she’s been but Kat didn’t divulge anything. The next day, Phoebe was relentless and Kat admitted that she and Ash hooked up. Kat made her promise not to tell anyone – she’d be in trouble with McCarthy. Phoebe advised her to make it clear with Ash that he can’t tell anyone.

At the hospital, Billie and VJ were glad to hear that she can be released the next day. Nate asked to speak with her alone, and pressed her again to tell VJ the truth. Billie promised she will come clean in her own time. The next day, Nate came by her room again and reminded her about her promise. Ash then arrived to pick her up. When they arrived at Leah’s house, Billie noticed that Ash is in an incredibly good mood and realised that he and Kat got together. Ash made her promise to keep it a secret, then left when Kat texted him to meet her at the beach.

Later, Kat met with Ash and told him that she needs to make sure they’re on the same page about what happened between them. She revealed that she can’t be with him – it would mean kissing her career goodbye. She told him that he can’t say anything to anyone and that what they did would never happen again. Soon enough, however, they couldn’t get their hands off each other and hooked up again. Afterwards, Phoebe told Ash that she loves him. They decided to keep their relationship a secret, at least until after her probation.

VJ observed that Billie was acting weirdly. It seemed the perfect opportunity to tell VJ the truth and she almost did. However, when she went to their room, she was surprised to see a baby carriage and lots of baby stuff. She lost her courage and still kept quiet about her secret. Meanwhile, at the hospital, another doctor noticed a discrepancy with Billie’s pregnancy records, particularly on her conception date. Nate realised that Billie deliberately changed the dates to protect her secret. Nate then rushed to see Billie and confronted her about what he learned. Nate blew his top and threatened he’ll tell the truth.
