‘Home and Away’ spoilers for Sept 28: Justin realises his mistake; Matt struggles to protect his sister
Conflicted emotions and wrong assumptions hound Summer Bay on the upcoming episode of “Home and Away.” On Wednesday, Justin Morgan (James Stewart) is surprised to learn that Phoebe Nicholson (Isabella Giovinazzo) is right about Hope Morrison (Jessica Falkholt) . Phoebe tried repeatedly to warn Justin that she senses something off about Hope, but he didn’t listen and even snapped at her.
The Sept. 28 episode also features Matt Page (Alec Snow), who is having a hard time dealing with his problematic little sister. This time, however, Ellie Page (Darcey Wilson) seems to have taken things too far as she becomes a suspect in a vandalism incident at school. Other “Home and Away” cast members who will also appear on the upcoming installment include Brody Morgan (Jackson Heywood), Evelyn “Evie” MacGuire (Philippa Northeast), Leah Patterson-Baker (Ada Nicodemou), Zac Macguire (Charlie Clausen), Olivia Richards (Raechelle Banno) and Hunter King (Scott Lee).

Back to the Bay reports that on Wednesday’s run, the school officials grapple to find the person who started a fire. Meanwhile, Evie deals with chaos at the house.
Seven Network posted a sneak peek of the upcoming episodes. In the trailer, Justin tells Brody that Phoebe’s driving him nuts. Brody says she’s right about Hope, however, catching Justin off-guard. Later, he goes to Phoebe to apologise. Meanwhile, Zac reckons a student started the fire at school. Matt finds a lighter in his sister’s bag and when he confronts her about it, she begged him not to tell anyone. He might not have to – the school authorities think Tabitha did it since the fire started at her locker.
“Home and Away” recap
In the previous episode, Justin declined Hope’s efforts to flirt with him, but she made it appear to Phoebe that something’s going on between them. Hope also continued to get on Phoebe’s nerves. The next day, Hope dropped her phone while she’s talking to someone. She obviously owed the person some money and when they got cut off, she’s visibly upset. Brody spotted her and checked if she’s alright. Hope opened to him about her money problems and Brody offered her a job at Salt. Later, she bumped into John and she made it appear that John broke her phone. She tried to extort $300 from him, but he refused, insisting that they have it fixed at a store.
Hope wanted to go home, considering their financial troubles, but Raffy begged her to stay at the Bay. Hope agreed and asked Justin to help her looking for a job. Meanwhile, Phoebe warned Justin about the newcomer, telling that there’s something dodgy about Hope. Phoebe shared with him about the phone story, but Justin defended Hope and told Phoebe to back off.
At school, Olivia spotted her tormentor and lashed out at Tabitha. Later, Olivia saw her again at the diner with her sister, Juliet, who seems ill. Olivia tried to ignore them, but Juliet came over to introduce herself. They shared a table and bid an awkward goodbye – Tabitha was being sent away to boarding school by her parents. Tabitha apologised to Olivia and left.
Meanwhile, Raffy met Ellie at school and they talked about the latter’s assignment. Raffy took a look at it and offered some constructive criticisms, but Ellie took it the wrong way and walked off. Later, there was fire at school.
