The promo video for the upcoming "How I Met Your Mother" Season 9 Episode 7 shows the gang experiencing strange and haunted events before the wedding ceremony. A press release for the new episode has been released as well that teases the fans on what will happen next.

The brief HIMYM Season 9 Episode 7 promo video shows Lily (Alyson Hannigan) freaking out that she is staying in a haunted hotel room perhaps in connection to the fast approaching Halloween. There's also Robin (Cobie Smulders) rolling around in purple skintight bodysuit with a weapon and Marshall (Jason Segel) asking Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) if he swallowed the real-life versions of each single Lucky Charms marshmallow as a dare.

Unfortunately, the latest promo video does not feature "The Mother" which makes the HIMYM fans impatient for actress Cristin Milioti to appear again after the TV sitcom's new season premiere episode. A part of the report from Web site Cartermatt.com reads: "Cristin Milioli is for whatever reason still missing in action, even though she has a huge role to play still in the rest of the story. What are they waiting for?"

In the new episode's press release, Marshall will be enlisting Ted (Josh Radnor), Robin and Barney's help in removing a troublesome text message that Daphne (Sherri Shepherd) sent to Lily with the enforcement of the rule called "No Questions Asked."

Furthermore, the Mstars News report teases the fans about the upcoming "Slap Bet" episode. TheSlapBetCountdown.com report reveals Marshall will be slapping Barney again on Jan. 13, 2014 when Episode 14 titled "Slapsgiving 3" airs.

The TV series co-creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas has confirmed as well the occurrence of the slap bet in Season 9 with Mr Thomas sharing the news on social networking site Twitter about it. "Just booked an amazing musical guest for our "Slapsgiving 3" episode...stay tuned! #HIMYM," Mr Thomas posted on Friday, Oct. 11, on his Twitter account @HimymCraig.

The final season of "How I Met Your Mother" airs Monday nights at 8 p.m. Eastern Time on the CBS network.
