Year 2012 will bring Hwelett Packard's (NYSE: HPQ) new netbook-like PC, which is the second device of the company in the ultrabook market.

It seems like a number of Ultrabooks will dominate the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) next week. An unidentified HP employee sent The Verge a teaser video for its upcoming Envy Sceptre Ultrabook. The Verge published the video that caused spur to readers on what HP in store for its consumers.

However, not that much can be concluded so far as the teaser video revealed very little of the device. The video started with wafer thin metals that progressed in a clamshell image and ended with a notebook opening ajar.

The company made no comment whether the Envy Spectre is an ultrabook and when is the launching of the device. HP could choose to unveil the Envy Spectre at next week's Consumer Electronics Show, where several other PC makers are expected to tout new ultrabooks. Last month, HP unveiled its inaugural ultrabook, the Folio 13, an 18-mm thick PC that weighs in at 3.3 pounds and features a 13.3-inch display and 128-GB solid state drive.

Ultrabooks are an attempt to remake netbooks as higher margin products that are suitable for both businesses and consumers. As evidence of HP's desire to target enterprise users, the Folio 13 comes with an optional Trusted Platform Module (TPM) chip, which secures data in e-mails and on the hard drive.

Despite being the newest technologies, holiday sales figures for ultrabooks are still being tabulated. However, the ultrabook market seems slow to develop. Acer and Asustek are two of the early and vocal proponents of the form factor but, according to news website DigiTimes, they cut their sales forecasts and scaled back orders significantly last fall.

Below is the teaser video where HP presented their consumer-oriented ultrabook.
