"We have always been committed to offering consumers the flexibility to share their personalities through their choice of mobile phone, whether through color, customization or features. The new HTC One in Glamour Red showcases the power of our flagship model in a color that demands attention, whilst maintaining the high standards set for sophisticated design and build quality," Philip Blair, the President of EMEA, HTC, stated.

However, the HTC One Glamour Red will be exclusively available at UK phone retailer Phones4U beginning mid-July. Pocket-Lint reports that Phones4U will offer the red HTC One to the consumers for free at a £33 (US$50) payment per month on a two-year agreement probably with Vodafone and come with 500MB of data, unlimited SMS and 600 free minutes.

Though the HTC One sports the new color red in its aluminum casing, changes on the smart phone's features and specs has not been made. The HTC One Glamour Red still has the 4.7-inch Full HD touch screen with 1080p resolution, a quad-core 1.7GHz Snapdragon processor, the UltraPixel camera, HTC's BoomSound stereo speakers, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, the HTC Sense 5.0 UI and incorporation of the Beats Audio enhancements.

The HTC One offers as well the BlinkFeed feature that collects multiple feeds from selected news sources, social networks and other in-phone features such as calendar or HTC Sense TV that can create a customizable, real-time stream of significant details straight to the home screen.

HTC introduced the UltraPixel camera that can yield high-quality images with the HTC Zoe shooting mode that allows the smart phone user to record 20 images captured at 6 frames per second while the BoomSound feature delivers quality sound when listening to music, playing games or watching a movie with the front-facing speakers and the Beats Audio optimization.

No confirmation has been given yet if the colored device will appear as well in US carriers like Verizon. Currently available in the US is the HTC One Google Edition at the Google Play Store with a price of $599 where consumers can experience the standard Android Jelly Bean operating system with no HTC Sense interface.
