Australian network Optus is now accepting pre-orders for HTC One ahead of its Australian launch in April.

HTC's quad core Android smartphone is coming to Australia next month and customers that ordered the device on March 29 will get their new handsets on April 4. The launch of the HTC One X is set on early April.

HTC One X is a smartphone that runs on the latest Android Ice Cream Sandwich platform, has an HD-resolution, 4.7-inch screen and is powered by a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor.

Browsing and multi-tasking were made easy by this new smartphone. Users can enjoy HTML5 and Flash rich content in their mobile. Moreover, HTC has integrated Dropbox in their system and works like Apple's iCloud. You can share large files by sending it on the Dropbox link.

Optus is offering three months free for business users, and two months free for consumers. HTC One X will also be available on Optus' subsidiary Virgin Mobile's under the plans ranging from $44 to $89 from early April, which the company announced last week.

HTC One X was first introduced in the World Mobile Congress as the flagship of the mobile manufacturer. HTC has a great market share in Australia and is at par with Apple. Android is a highly preferred mobile operating system in the country and HTC sports such OS.
