Asus recently launched its latest device - Asus PadFone 2. This new smartphone will battle against other mobile devices that are currently in the tech market such as HTC One X+.

Its new hybrid device of the company boasts a larger 4.7-inch screen with a 1280 x 720 pixel display and also upgrades its processor to a quad-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm. It also has 1GB of RAM and 13MP camera. It is also believed that the device will have Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

HTC also announced the upgraded version of its smartphone HTC One X that will hit the tech market later this year. The new HTC One X+ updated and added some of the features of its predecessor.

HTC boasts the amazing features of the new HTC One X+ including the faster 1.7GHz Tegra 3 CPU, larger 2,100mAh battery, expanded 64GB of storage and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with Sense 4+ onboard.

The two companies are considered as the underdogs in the smartphone market. Below is the comparison of the two devices.

Screen Display - HTC One X+ offers a 4.7 inch S-LCD2 display. HTC claimed that their device is perfect for outdoor viewing. The phone handset itself has a 4.7-inch Super IPS+ capacitive multitouch display with a 1280x720 pixel resolution and a pixel density of 312ppi.

Processor - The HTC One X+ has a chip upgrade from its predecessor and is powered by a 1.7GHz quad-core chip with 1GB of RAM. The ASUS Padfone 2 is powered by Qualcomm's S4 (Series 4) Pro quad core processor clocked at 1.5GHz.

Storage - HTC One X+ is available in expanded 64GB of storage. Asus PadFone 2, on the other hand, has the same setup of internal storage but with a MicroSD slot up to 32GB.

Operating System - Both devices were released with Android v4.1 Jelly Bean.

Camera - Asus PadFone 2's 13MP shooter and 1.2 MP front camera. While HTC One X+ is equipped with 8MP shooter.

The HTC One X+, on the other hand, will hit Europe and Northern Asia this October, and in South Asia by November. However, there is no word yet from Asus as to when it will release its new smartphone.
