Google is rumoured to launch its new Nexus smartphones, the LG Nexus 5X and the Huawei Nexus 6 (2015) on Sept. 29. The specifications of the Huawei variant have surfaced yet again through GeekBench benchmark test.

A Huawei smartphone with the codename Angler was benchmarked on Geekbench on Sept. 10. Phone Arena claims that Angler is the codename of the purported Nexus smartphone from Huawei. It has been found that the handset is powered by Snapdragon 810 chipset.

The chipset features the Adreno 5430 graphics and an octa-core processor that clocks at 1.55 GHz. It will be coupled by 3 GB of RAM. The handset recorded single-core and multi-core scores of 1156 and 3641, respectively. The operating system of the handset is mentioned as Android 6.0 which means that it will be shipped with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.

Speculations are rife that the handset will be either sporting a 5.5 inches or 5.7 inches Quad HD resolution display. According to a tweet from @OnLeaks, the Huawei Nexus 6 (2015) handset will be sporting a metal unibody chassis that measures 159.4 x 78.3 x 6.6/8.5 mm. It will be sporting two stereo speakers on the front, a fingerprint scanner on its rear and a USB Type-C connector on its bottom.

The Huawei Nexus 6 (2015) will be available in storage options like 32 GB and 64 GB. It is expected to feature a massive battery of 3,500 mAh capacity. The exact details on the camera of the handset are not known yet. However, recent renders of the handset reveal that it will be coming with raised camera module.

Since the Nexus 6 from 2014 did not attract many buyers as it was launched with expensive pricing, the new Huawei Nexus 6 (2015) is expected to be priced around $4449 to $549. The LG Nexus 5X is expected to be priced around $349 to $449.
