Hugh Jackman is the richest Australian entertainer in 2013, according to Business Review Weekly. "The Boy From Oz" star leads a bevy of the country and Hollywood's powerhouse entertainers, with a massive $46.8 million earnings, more than double the second placers The Wiggles' earnings of $18.2 million.

The 45-year-old Sydney native is having a very lucrative year, thanks to his blockbuster "The Wolverine," the upcoming "X-Men: Days of Future Past," and the thriller "Prisoners." He has also made lucrative sponsorship deals with German car Audi and Lipton's iced tea range.

It's no surprise that Jackman has topped the list for the year. He was named the third-highest paid male actor by Forbes magazine in July with USD55 million. And considering that he was just behind Americans Robert Downy Jr and Channing Tatum, it's no wonder he topped the exclusive Australian list.

Coming in at second place is the children's music group The Wiggles. Beating Aussie luminaries in Hollywood, this four-member band is a regular in the BRW annual list, though its recent line-up change has posed a threat to their earning potential.

Nevertheless, the pre-school entertainers - now composed of Anthony Field, Emma Watkins, Simon Pryce, and Lachlan Gillespie - still managed to nab the second place with $18.2 million.

Coming in at third and fourth place are Cate Blanchett and Russell Crowe, with $17.2 million and $15.1 million respectively, while "The Mentalist" star takes the fifth spot with $10.1 million.

At sixth place is Nicole Kidman, whose $8.6 million earning for the year might not be her highest (she has once made USD14.5 million in 2005, according to Forbes), but her steady stream of projects allowed her to nab a high spot in the list.

At eighth place is Nicole's husband, Keith Urban, who has had just a successful run as a judge in "American Idol." He was rumoured to have received USD5 million for the role, and, as the only returning judge of the show next season, it's that expected that he got a lot more.

Sandwiched between the husband and wife is Chris Hemsworth, whose current blockbuster "Thor: The Dark World," is mostly responsible for his seventh place in the list.

Chef Curtis Stone and supermodel Miranda Kerr cap the top ten list with $6.4 and $6 million earnings respectively.
