March 23 is the most awaited day in "Hunger Games" history because it'll be the day fans finally get to see Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark, Liam Hemsworth as Gale and Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen in action.

Though the hype is still on the high, Lawrence's photo shoot with Glamour magazine is sure enough to curb a little bit of the "hunger."

The 21-year old star is almost unrecognizable in the April cover of Glamour magazine. Though her iconic brunette hair appears to be losing its dark tones and turning back to blonde, Jennifer still manages to look amazing.

Apart from the eye-catching and not to mention a few provocative poses, Jennifer opens up on fame and the "Hunger Games".

Contrary to what other people had thought about the "Winter's Bone" star, Jennifer did not immediately sign up for the film when she was offered the role of Katniss Everdeen. The Oscar nominated star did a little bit of thinking at ironically it was her mother he pushed her into finally accepting the role.

"I gave myself three days," said Lawrence.

"I knew from reading the books that I loved 'The Hunger Games.' I just didn't know if it was worth changing my life for. I'm at a peaceful place right now. The people who used to ignore me at parties, now they're nice to me and kissing my ass. But nobody's staked outside my house. I wanted to make sure that when I said yes, I wouldn't regret it. And I don't regret it. I would have said no because I was scared, and then I would have been that bitter actress telling my grandkids, 'I'm the one that turned it down.'" claims the actress.

Thankfully she didn't turn it down. Now what does she make of the fame and the hype she had been thrust into now? In a recent interview, Jennifer shared her thoughts on the fame Kristen Stewart is in for her role in the "Twilight" films and how the fame affected the actresses' personal life. Seeing that Lawrence is now in the heat of the limelight, will she be able to handle the fame as easily as Stewart?

"In some ways, it's a hard life, but it's a great professional life. I'm doing what I love, and then I get months and months of rest. I have a lot of money for a 21-year-old. I can't stand it when actors complain," says Jennifer.

If she could step into the grocery store before and not be swarmed with fans, well, now that she's known all over the globe as Katniss Everdeen then she might have a bit of trouble easily stepping out of the house.

For now, fans should head over to the newsstands this March 6 to get their hands on the April issue of Glamour magazine featuring the lovely, Jennifer Lawrence.
