'Hunger Games' Josh Hutcherson Flaunts his Hunky Side
The "Hunger Games" are just a few weeks away and everyone is hyped about it finally hitting the big screen.
Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth are two of the leads who have no trouble flaunting their assets and handling the fame. Will the same hold true for Josh Hutcherson, who finally bares his hunky side to Elle Magazine?
Everyone has seen him play the charming boy who fell in love and whose heart got broken in the film "Little Manhattan." Since then he's moved on to play even larger roles in films from "Bridge to Terabithia" to "Journey to the Center of the Earth."
Josh Hutcherson has starred alongside a such Hollywood big shots as Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Clint Eastwood and the lovely Vanessa Hudgens.
So it was quite a surprise to hear that this little boy everyone has got their eyes on since "Manhattan" would be playing his biggest role yet, Peeta, in the film adaptation of Suzanne Collins best-selling books, "The Hunger Games."
In a world where teenagers fight for survival and fight against a tyrannical society, will Josh Hutcherson be able to embody his character Peeta?
Winning the game isn't Josh's only goal since he's vying for the affections of Katniss Everdeens, played by "Winter Bones" actress Jennifer Lawrence. Josh who plays Peeta, "The Boy with the Bread", is up against Gale who is played by Liam Hemsworth. If fans of the actors would have their say, Liam would obviously win; but not so fast though, Josh surely shows he's as hunky and attractive as Liam.
Josh Hutcherson is ready to win a few hearts with his photo op with Elle Magazine and he looks Hollywood-hunky hot. Josh talks about playing Peeta in the highly anticipated "Hunger Games" and the persistence that led him into acting.
"I read all three books in five days," says 19-year old, Josh Hutcherson, "I've never read a character I've connected with more-I am Peeta."
Director Gary Ross and author Suzanne Collins agree that no one could have played Peeta other than Josh Hutcherson. The kid truly connected with the role in ways no other Hollywood actor could.
"He's so unbelievably charming," shared Ross. "When he auditioned, Suzanne and I looked at each other. We'd both been knocked out."
Thankfully, Josh was so persistent that at the age of nine he managed to look for his own agent when he failed to convince his parents. Well, if he wasn't then the world would have failed to produce a Peeta-worthy actor.
