With all the success that the 'Hunger Games' movie adaptation has been getting, it is not surprising to find many products emerging that are tie-ups to the movie.

Just this week, Mattel came up with a doll that carries a bow and arrow and with Katniss' famous braided hair. And yes, it is Katniss Everdeen.

Bill Greening, the designer, told Entertainment Weekly that she decided to dress the doll in the outfit worn during the actual games scenes. This is to not miss all the heart stopping action that are loved by the book's numerous fans. And of course, there is the mockingjay pin above all.

The designer himself is a big fan of 'Hunger Games' and hence did all his best to make the best look for the Katniss doll. It is even makeup free to embrace the genuine, simple character of the heroine. It is free of blush and lipstick but has the usual elegant eyelashes and liner that all Barbie dolls have.

Even in the past, there have been lots of celebrities who were given their own Barbie doll versions. To have one that follows your own looks and fashion is such a great honour for any celebrity as if you are considered as a large icon in the industry already. It is pretty much the same as Katy Perry having her own 'SIMS' game edition.

Other stars who have gotten this treatment include names like Cher, Audrey Hepburn, Farrah Fawcett, Faith Hill, Charlie's Angels, Barbra Streisand, Julie Andrews, Diana Ross, Marilyn Monroe, and a lot more.
